This screen is where you can type
in your network addresses to connect to your PC via FTP or Host. Other
applications may also use the IPCONFIG.DAT so check before
editing to see if the file already exists in your SYS-CONF
folder. Make sure to use the correct IP addresses or you will not be
able to connect.
Take note of the
Key Legend at the bottom of the screen, as it may change depending on
what you select in the menu.

IP Address - This is the
IP address for your PS2 (Not your PC!!)
You can assign any number within your networks range that no other PC
or PS2 is using. Netmask - This you
shouldnt need to change unless your familiar with your network and have
setup other networks that use a different subnet. Gateway - This is
the IP for your router using an ethernet cable or if your using a
cross-over cable it will be the PC's IP address.
Please refer to a network guide if you do not know how to connect to a
network or what to use for your IP addresses . You can find a few FTP
guides with useful info on PS2 networking at SKSApps.com's
tutorials page.
