This is the most full-featured media player for PS2 that was not commercially developed. Although lacking HDD and USB support, it plays files at a higher bitrate than the AR Max media player. Also support network streaming of movie and msuic files. |

Latest-Changes include removing the video screen so it can now run video in its native
aspect ratio in a seperate window. Full-screen mode was also preserved, and a
future update plans to include a .PSS decoder to play .PSS files with sound...

About SMS (Simple Media System)
SMS is a DivX and MP3 player for the PS2.
Using SMS, you can stream movies and music right to your TV. forget about all the set-top boxes, forget about the 'Media PC', if you have a PS2, you have all the hardware you need.

SMS can even read DVD-RW discs specially formatted with the DVD-Video filesystem, or CD-R Discs formatted with CDDAFS without needing a modchip or any Swap tricks.
